Here are our few policies, guidelines and suggestions:

Policies / Guidelines

1.  Names:  We will publish no real names of people, places or organizations.  You may either submit your story as ANONYMOUS, or you may submit a PEN NAME or INITIALS.

2.  Subject line:  Help us by putting the words - MY STORY if it is a story, MY VICTORIES if it is victory and MY RESOURCES if you want to share resources.   If you have a question or comment for us, put QUESTION or COMMENT in the subject line.

2.  Publication:  We reserve the right to withhold publication of any submission that does not appear to be in keeping with the spirit and vision of the site.  We will notify you if that occurs.

3.  Respecting your voice:  To be on the safe side, we will not publish stories referencing submissions from others.  Sometimes, even well-meaning responses to your story can be hurtful.  If you want to participate in dialogue, join our discussion board.

4.  Privacy:  Your submissions will not result in your e-mail addresses being sold or made public .  After publishing your story, we will not retain your e-mail communications in any form without your express permission.   Submitting a story does not constitute registration in our contact list.

Suggestions

1.  Length:  Try to keep your submissions brief (no more than 200-300 words).  Abuse and recovery can involve many aspects of life.  You may want to think of one aspect and submit your story dealing with it.  Avoid trying to cover all aspects of the abuse in one submission.  Instead, submit SEVERAL items.  Also, if you find you've just got too much to say - submit it in article form to be published on our "Original Articles" page.

2.  Honesty:  Be REAL.  There is no one to impress here.
