Important Events
FREE WORKSHOPS for your organization, conference, support group, church group, club or association.: We want to get the word out about the launching of our workshops on CD. We offer our services customized to the needs of your group. We would not charge a speaker / presenter fee, only asking that our CD / workbooks are available should any of your group want them.
We are scheduling events around the country in the early fall and these are our plans: It is so important for us to get the word out that we can HEAL from our past and that our relationships can improve.
Part of our mission is to offer hope but we need your help!

Description: Come take some personal time to explore and problem solve: things about your life, your health, your relationships, your goals. Each week I present a topic and methods for exploring. Sharing is optional. Personal privacy is always respected.
Cost: Your first time is free! Subsequent sessions, pay what you are able ($15 - $30)

Divine Collage - 15401 Durant St.,Silver Spring, MD
Date / Time: Every Other Month. Next one: Saturday, September 27: 9:30 - 12 noon
Description: Let your inspiration come out and speak to you! Perhaps you've heard of "The Secret," and "Vision Boards" -- Well, that's a start, finding pictures that express what you want to create in your life. Creative Journal Expressive Arts can take you from the Images to Reality, by quietly dialoguing with your own intuitive ideas. It's a proven tool for discovering what your desires are and what needs to happen to realize them. It's fun, it's safe. You can explore any area of your life. With that in mind, I am offering an every-other-month morning of "Divine Collage." We will pick a theme from what's "Up" for us in our current lives, create a magazine collage that expresses it visually, and then begin to explore it with writing. On Sep. 27th the theme will be "If I Could Have What I Truly Want" - about our Possibilities!
Cost: $30 per person, all materials supplied.

"Emotional Literacy" Workshop - 407 North 850 East, Orem, Utah
Date / Time: Wednesday, October 1, 2008: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Description: Open to the Public, with RSVP required. The workshop will focus initially on tools to be more "emotionally literate" (understanding and having more "emotional integrity" when expressing emotions). Then participants will learn some surprising techniques to deal with difficult emotions. This is a group workshop, but each person does their own work individually. No one is required to share personal or private information.

Cost: Workshop is FREE; CDs and workbooks will be available to purchase for those wanting to do their own work after the workshop.

"Triangle of Empowerment" Conference - The Hearthside, 5612 East 2200 North, Eden, Utah
Date / Time: Friday, October 3 - Sat. October 4, 2008. Registration is at 1:00 PM on Friday and events go until 6:30 PM on Saturday.
Description: "Validity, Hope & Healing" workshop for abuse sufferers. This workshop will be held on Saturday morning from 10:45-12:15 (Workshop #11.) NOTE: The conference brochure lists the time incorrectly as 3:30-5:00. The workshop will provide tools to conquer the "critical parent" or inner critic in all of us.

Cozumel Retreat - Wyndham Reef Club Resort, Cozumel Mexico - December 15-20, 2008
Description: This workshop will concentrate on healing for individuals or couples where one or both have experienced childhood abuse. In a relaxed, soothing atmosphere in "paradise," learn and experience unique tools for healing.
Cost: $1,900 for two people. Cost includes VIP Villa accomodations next to the beach, all-inclusive use of resort, meals, sports and marine equipment. Does not include airfare, ground transportation or activities outside of the resort.
